Glass House (2013)

As part of the 55th Venice Biennale I was invited to be part of the Glasstress exhibtion titled White Light/ White Heat  curated by James Putnam. The piece is based on the proverb ‘Those Who Live In Glass Houses Shouldn’t Throw Stones’. The glass panels of the levitating green house are replaced with smashed mirror giving the structure a fragile and precarious, or even ominous sensibility. The shattered mirrors are illuminated creating an explosion of light ricocheted throughout the surrounding space while confronting viewers with fractured reflections of themselves
